Providing ongoing legal and commercial advice to a business hub and free zone based in Dubai, including:

drafting and negotiating collaboration agreements, services agreements, consultancy agreements, licence agreements, maintenance and support agreements, software licence agreements, non-disclosure agreements, leases and settlement and termination agreements; and

responding to a variety of impromptu general legal enquiries across a variety of business sectors and management levels, including questions relating to real estate and construction matters; employment issues, contract management and issues regarding intellectual property rights and brand protection.

Advising a strategic advisory and implementation company on their contractual arrangements for large scale entertainment events, including the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, Emirates Dubai 7s and the Dubai World Cup. This included drafting, reviewing and negotiating sponsorship agreements, hospitality package agreements, artist performance agreements and supplier agreements.
 

Advising a UAE based fintech company who offers a SaaS medical claim management and financing platform. This included drafting and reviewing agreements relating to the provision of customised software, drafting user terms and conditions and advising on distribution arrangements.
 

Drafting a suite of IT contracts for a multinational logistics company based in Dubai, including a turnkey IT project agreement, a software agreement (SaaS model), an IT consultancy agreement and a standard software supply agreement.
 

Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, operation and maintenance agreements, purchase orders and service agreements for several Meraas projects, including City Walk, the Green Planet and La Mer.
 

Drafting and negotiating consultancy services agreements, construction contracts, operation agreements and intellectual property licences for the development of the Dubai Parks project.
 

Drafting and negotiating suites of agreements for the construction, operation and branding of several hotels and luxury branded residential developments in Dubai.
