CONSTRUCTION

• Saudi Arabia – advised developer on the development of solar and battery powered projects, including the preparation of EPC, O&M and PPA agreements.  
   

• Yas Island – advised on the financing and development of Yas Island in Abu Dhabi comprising Yas Marina F1 Track, Yas Waterworld, Yas Mall, Yas Links Golf Club and the Ferrari World Theme Park.  
   

• Cleveland Clinic – advised development manager on the development, construction and maintenance of the clinic which included a $1 billion construction contract.  
   

• Algeria – advised on a capital raising which included advice on EPC Contracts for the development of two Duel (Gas and Fuel) Turbine Power Stations and outdoor station. 
   

• Masdar City – advised on the finance and development of Masdar, a city powered by renewable energy, including on the development of solar and related utilities infrastructure. 
   

• Al Falah – advised on all aspects of the financing and construction of a new town comprising 1700 villas, schools and associated road, utilities and district-cooling infrastructure.  

 

NATURAL RESOURCES
 

• Morocco – advised Australian, UK and Canadian investors on the acquisition and development of mining projects in Morocco including preparation of joint-venture, earn-in and royalty arrangements. 
   

• Saudi Arabia – advised Ministry of Mineral Resources on implementation of Saudi’s new mining framework, which included reports and presentations to Ministerial Committees. 
   

• Egypt – advised investors on the acquisition and development of various gold and platinum projects including on financing, earn-in and offtake agreements, and due diligence of assets. 
   

• Simandou – advised Government on the tendering and development of the Simandou iron ore mine which included bilingual versions of tendering and concession documents. 
   

• Zimbabwe – advised middle east investor on the acquisition, finance and development of multiple mining projects which included negotiations with government committees.  
   

• Mauritania – advised Australian investor on all aspects of an iron project in Mauritania including preparation of bilingual mining, port and rail concession agreements. 
   

• Listings – assisted various mining companies with IPO and RTO listing on the ASX, AIM and TSX(V).
