  • Advising a listed investment vehicle operating in the tech, media and communications sector in the 100% acquisition of a premier digital advertising company in a deal worth approximately USD 120 million.

  • Acting as the lead counsel to one of the world’s largest telecommunication companies and its sister microfinance bank regarding the sale of shareholding worth USD 184.5 million to a Chinese multinational technology company specialising in e-commerce, retail, Internet, and technology.

  • Representing an international venture capital firm in its investment in an additive manufacturing services company operating all over the Middle East through the acquisition of preferred shares.

  • Advising a DIFC-based private equity firm in its acquisition of shareholding interest worth approximately USD 10,000,000 in a company operating in the education technology sector.

  • Advising a Middle Eastern conglomerate involved in the fashion, retail and foodservice industries in its acquisition of a shareholding interest in an enterprise engaged in developing technology related to customers’ order management and vendor and supplier procurement process.

  • Acting as transaction counsel for a company engaged in business consultancy services in relation to its acquisition by an international venture capital firm settled in-kind by way of a cross-border share swap.

  • Advising as co-counsel to one of Qatar’s leading banks with respect to its merger with another Qatar-based Islamic Bank, creating a combined entity with a total asset value of approximately QAR 178 billion.

  • Representing a UAE-based group in relation to its acquisition of a sporting house belonging to one of the leading Middle Eastern conglomerates and one of the largest multi-brand sports retailers in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

  • Advising a French multinational engaged in the development of electrical systems and “deep tech” innovations for the aerospace, defence, transportation and security markets industries in relation to the restructuring of its business in Qatar, in line with its global restructuring framework.

  • Advising a Spanish transnational enterprise involved in the design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of transport infrastructure and urban services on a potential exit from a joint venture entered into with an international airline.

  • Acting for an Emirati telecommunications giant in Pakistan in its merger with Pakistan’s largest telecommunications provider.
